Tips on how to match/Pair up neckties and dress shirts.?
i need to wear coat and tie/ corporate attire everyday.
thing is i've been having problems on how to match the colors of the tie and the dress shirt.
i've heard that dark color shirts matches w/ bright neckties- vice versa. But i've seen many wear both dark colored shirts and ties and some of them look good and more formal.
i'm actually fond of dark colored shirts (save from the black dress shirt) and ties and i don't think the bright colored ties suit me

If your tie has a pattern, pick a color in the patern that matches your shirt or slacks. If it is a solid tie and solid color shirt, pick a tie of the same color, a shade lighter or darker. Be careful wearing a pattern tie with a pattern shirt. Most the time, solids match, paterns clash.
