I wanted mine to be special, but so that I could wear it again so I didn't care about getting an expensive dress.
1. Short (but not really short or anything)
2. Straps (I didn't want to be worried about it falling down all night)
3. Straight (puffy is *not* flattering on me)
4. Dark with light accents.
5. Pretty plain
6. The back is awesome, with cutouts and such 
7. Not tight, but more close-fitting
8. To be comfortable and look awesome
