what do i wear to a black tie wedding?
I'm going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and I just wanted to know what I should wear. The theme is a black tie, after five, semi-formal wedding. Some people say I should wear a sundress others say I should wear a gown kind of like a prom dress? I'm not sure.. Thanks for your help!
If it's black tie it can't be semi-formal. It's one or the other. It's actually considered quite tacky to wear a "prom dress" style gown. If it is, in fact, a bona fide black tie wedding, invest in a chic, jewel-toned style, slim cut gown. Pair with a statement bag or necklace/earrings.
