Should I be concerned?
My cat, Tino, has been throwing up lately. Maybe for the past few weeks to a month. Sometimes we know why he throws up -- he likes to chew on my mom's silk flowers on the table. But sometimes he just throws up pretty big amounts of food. For no reason that I can get at. He throws up pretty often, about two maybe three times a week at the most. So it's not so alarming. But when I was changing out his litter box this morning I noticed he had really bad diarrhea the past week.
It's kind of strange, because he still sleeps, plays, and eats like normal. I'm just wondering if I should be alarmed and get him checked out?
You definitely should. If he likes to eat random things, there could be something in his digestive tract bugging him (objects, parasites, worms, etc.) Or he's having troubles with the food he eats, it could be hairballs, allergies....but, the professionals will be able to tell. Since it's been going on awhile, I'd definitely doctor him up.
