I have a problem living as a graphic designer?
My issue is that the field I'm entering (graphic design) is typically based out of cities. I'm from Philadelphia so the colleges here all tend to give you ties to New York City. The problem with this is entry level graphic designers tend to make around $40,000 in NYC and I have no idea how I can afford to live in such an expensive city on that salary.
Do any of you have advice?
I also should add I don't know anyone from the area. Sharing a place with strangers makes me a bit weary.
