I bought a navy blue suit with burnt orange pin stripes and solid faint blue shirt, what tie should i wear?
I bought the suit for my friends wedding, I am not standing up. It is a Ben Sherman Navy blue with vertical pinstripes with burnt orange, very thin stripes. The inside liner is burnt orange. The shirt I intend to buy is a pale blue solid shirt, please help with me the tie! Stripes? Color? Polka Dots? What should I buy?
Solid color, I would think, and choose one that brings out the orange in the stripe. A stripe would be okay as well, with shades of the two tones of blue you have.
