I have struggled with my weight for years and now I am reading that black women are the heaviest group.
So please if you are a slim black woman please share some lifestyle tips? Please, please!
I am a wife and mother of two, I cook all the family meals, I can spare about 4 hours a week for gym.
I really want to get SLIM for my husband's birthday this year. I am currently 2 stone (28lbs) overweight and have been for 10 years- I am 28 years old.
I'm slim and black but I have some area's I need improvement in but everybody around me thinks I'm a perfect size for my height. Anyway, try to just stay active and cardio always helps slim you down quickly. As African Americans we usually carry our weight in our Thighs and Hips so check out some ways to slim those area's down. Don't base your weight on what you see from the stars because usually they're doing something that's really not healthy. Try to focus on your health and believe me the weight will start to come down. Stay focus on your goal of loosing some weight and fight those urge as they will come.
Also get a great support system. Sense you have kids try to in cooperate them in some outdoor activity with you....they'll actually make your workout regime fun!
Girl you're beautiful don't let others dictate your size...just get healthy!
