Suit for prom (girl's input is helpful)...?
So I have decided to wear a silver or gray suit. It will be a two-button suit with black shoes and a black shirt with a gray or silver vest depending on the color of the suit jacket/pants. The problem I am having is what tie should I wear? The suit is made of wool and I am worried that a silk tie might throw things off... do you guys think that is true? Any color combination will be helpful. But the suit is silver/gray. I just need a shirt/tie combination. O and my skin color is tan.

you can wear a bright colour to add a bit of an umphh (if you may!)
it could also b cute if your tie matched your dates dress!
you coud ask her, but make sure that it doesn't clash (ie. golden!)
but if it's like a red, that would match the suit and your date!
