What to wear to a formal award ceremony?
So I have to go to this award ceremony for school. I have to dress formal, so I have these two dresses sorry I don't have pictures but I'll describe them.
Dress #1: It hits right above my knee, it's black with a thick white stripe down the middle, it ties in the back, it's silk, and it's got really thin straps.
Dress #2: Again it hits right above my knee, it's black and has a light pink bow, it kind of poofs at the bottom, and it has pink lining at the bottom too, it has a zipper in the back, and is strapless.
I also don't know what to do with my hair. I have long, brown, and curly hair.
And i could take make-up tips, I have brown eyes, and tan skin.
And ALSO what shoes do you think I should wear I'm tall but love heels what should I do???

That's an important factor. Try both on, looking at yourself in the mirror, and be honest about which just 'feels' better.
How about some sort of black strap sandals with a low heel?
I'd say wear your hair down, with either dress. Or, again, whatever makes you feel most relaxed, especially if you have to be on stage or receiving an award. And if that's the case, congratulations!
