Silk Mens Cufflinks
Women have jewellery for every occasion. Diamonds for an elegant night, pearls for formal, silver, white or yellow gold for every day, and costume for fun. What about men though? When is the best time for them to wear jewellery and which pieces should they wear?
Generally cufflinks are worn in double cuff shirts, which tend to be worn with suits (as opposed to jeans and blazers). As a result almost everyone can afford to splash out on a fun piece of jewellery- if that's their style of course. They also make great gifts.
Another really nice style of cufflink are silk knots. Thin pieces of silk are used to form balls attached by a central piece of silk like a barbell. They come in a wide variety of colours and perfectly balance casual and formal attire. While they might not be appropriate to wear with a tux to a wedding, they would be fine to wear to the office with a nice suit. And of course, they are perfectly suited for jeans and a casual dress shirt, maybe even with a sports jacket. Silk knots are also a lot more affordable then metal cufflinks.
There are other ways for men to jazz up their outfits. Men are now seen wearing leather, string, and silver bracelets, as well as beaded necklaces, rings, watches, sunglasses, and earrings. Cufflinks however, are classic. They are a simple accessory that says a lot about how a man takes care of himself. Traditionally, they are often kept as heirlooms and passed down to younger generations of men.
