Bowtie or necktie for prom?
Bowtie or necktie for prom? I plan on going with the classic black and white look, even if my date is wearing purple. What do you all think? I just like the classic look much better than matching.
If you do the bow tie correctly, you'll blow those long tie guys away easily. Preferably small though not tiny. Black or a light silver (platinum is perfect) so you don't stand out too much.
No button studs or ruffles or even pleats. Keep the jacket 1 or 2 buttons, notch or peak lapel. Double breasted (the jacket where the front crosses-over) is a risky move. No tails.
I know these things are classIC and fun, but new kinds want classY and are scared of traditional.
Make sure you're hair is classy like a businessman or James Bond, not spiky or out of control.
