My brother is acting very strange nowadays. Could it be some kind of mental illness or disorder?
He filed chapter 7 bankruptcy and was supposed to go to meeting of creditors today. However, he was dressing extremely professionally for meeting of creditors. necktie, business suit, shining shoes etc etc. I asked him if he was going to job interview and he said he is going to "meeting of creditors". Then i asked him, why the hell he purchased $400 suit for it? He said "to let creditor know i'm not poor". But then never went to meeting of creditors. Instead he went into a funeral director building asking arrangement for his coffin. Also yesterday i saw him scaring our dog with lighter flame. He kept doing that repeatedly. He was seen nude walking in house too.
The bankruptcy lawyer gave many calls saying brother is not showing up for meeting of creditors and that the bankruptcy will be dismissed if he doesn't show up. When i call brother he said he is in "funeral house"
Talk to your parents. You maybe should go to a local mental health agency and talk to them. If necessary, they can get a court order to evaluate him for his own safety.
