Why is men's fashion so limited, ugly, and boring?
I know many average men who would prefer, as women do, to have a wardrobe that's full of variety, beauty, and imagination, yet they are limited either to interestingly colored neckties or cross-dressing. Watch a fashion show by the most bizarre, out-of-this-world designer you can think of, and tell me that the men's outfits aren't little more than gestures, last minute attempts at slight variation on the same tired old design: the suit.
Can anyone explain to me the reason for this? It looks like pure laziness. Why is creative fashion exclusive to women?
I should add that I'm asking this question because it's been put to me by several men I know. Straight men, in fact.
because men wouldnt be bold enough to wear outrageous outfits anyway and they would be scared or embarrassed to try something totally different.
