Where can I find 96 inch black shoelaces for boots?
My boyfriend loves wearing his black boots out at parties, but after tying and pulling them for years the laces are looking very worn. He's searched dozens of stores looking for laces, but can't find them in his size. He needs black laces that are 96 inches, and not shorter. Can someone please help? Maybe suggest a store or website? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!
If the boots came with 96" laces. Contact the maker of the boots. Ham it up and say how you're a loyal customer, buy the same type boots over and over again and need laces. You'd be surprised how many customer service representatives will go out of their way to help you find them or give/sell them to you.
Usually boot laces are made of leather or a heavy twine. Try a big fabric or craft store. If you cant find actual laces, pick out a strip of leather of rope that fits the eye holes and dip the ends in wax to help with fraying.
Try army navy stores also.
