Anybody think Sri Lanka blundered by not playing Kapugedera instead of Kulasekara or Mendis against England?
In hindsight Sri Lanka needed some pace bowling firepower but couldn't sustain it as they lacked good quality bowlers. However they could have made a better total or made a match of it either by including Kapugedera or Thushara in their first eleven. Playing 2 spinners was a rare luxury for such a green top.
I think that Englands batsman were great today, I think that you could have bowled whoever you wanted and it would not have dislodged them. I think Kapudegara is nothing compared to Kulasekara and Mendis. I think Thushara might have made a slight difference, but I dont think he is better than Malinga. Englands pace attack was brilliant. I think they have one of the best bowling attacks in the world today. If they had a batting line-up to match their bowling line up they would be unbeatable.
