Nowadays, such scarves are made of two layers of pure silk to meet those desired qualities while retaining the stylish look but dumping the bulky effect of wool. Apparently, style has evolved as its foremost quality while relegating practicality to the sidelines.
Most men prefer white pieces to match their dark, whether black or brown, leather coats for a dramatic contrast. These pieces are typically plain white but some versions have stylish patterns such as a swirling paisley design. There are some men who prefer a solid black piece. The reason why they are less popular is because most leather jackets are either black or dark brown. The scarf can be looped around the neck once or simply hung from the back of the neck with both ends dropping in parallel at the front.
