Color Silk Necktie
There is a huge difference on the necktie after the France Revolution. Neckties are still popular in France and have become an important part of men clothing. The necktie appearance during that time is far away from the modern tie. The tying method is also quite different in which wrap around the neck twice and leave the two ends randomly hanging. The ties can have three or four ribbon knots at that time. It may look funny now but it was the rule of etiquette at that time. By the eighteenth century, the Revolution proclaimed the end of noble court life and also brought the blooming glory of neckties. Men gave up the flashy clothing instead of simple and plain dress so the neckties brought a surprise to the general public. Suddenly men with a necktie is everywhere in Paris, no matter noble or normal people. Byron, a famous poet, had no exception for this fashion trend and even was famous for his harsh attitude on the tying method of neckties. Balzac is also a big fan of neckties so that his words on the ties brought the promotion to the whole France in 1827. It is said that Balzac was the first one to describe the neckties in the form of literary works and it is indeed a great contribution for the necktie promotion.
The nineteenth century is an important era for modern ties because the European worn a variety of neckties with a lot of different tying methods at that time. The sizes of the neckties are quite different and the classic patterns are the representative signs of their respective countries. So we speculate that people can't randomly pick any neckties which have a specific country logo. Even more interesting, people made a lot more efforts to add certain special meaning to neckties, such as loyalty and diplomacy. The neckties were far more than a decoration accessory and they were the representative of the wearer's identity, status, personality, hobbies, and even more. You can have a basic understanding of the wearer through the neckties so it is meaningful during the social networking. This rule is still not a big change until today.
In the history of necktie development, an important figure, born in the nineteenth century, is Duke Windsor who is the Prince of Wales and King Edward VIII in a short life. Besides his romantic love story, he also had great contribution to the world from his fashion taste. Even now he still has many big fans for his outstanding taste. Until 1972 before his death, the Duke of Windsor was far ahead of the forward-looking fashion world at the time and also created a series of far-reaching invention. One of the most famous is the Windsor knot of neckties which was the preferred style for the wide ties. It was sensational for that invention all over the world; even the arrogant Hitler made compliments on that. Currently the Windsor knot looks formal and common, but it was sought after by the majority of artists. Even it was said that it can't be a real artist if not tying a Windsor knot. In the nineteenth century, neckties have been transformed into a symbol from the personal information to the development of society. It was given more objective meanings and social interests. All the favorable factors make the brilliant era for the neckties from the nineteenth century to the early twentieth century.
Necktie can have a variety of ways to tie them and also in different texture including silk necktie.
