Second Interview in a couple hours!?!?!?
I had my first interview for a Tech job at a Verizon Wireless store with the area manager this past Friday after having a 15 minute phone interview with the recruiter. He told me that it would take about a week for a background check. On Monday, he called asking for a copy of my High School Diploma. An hour later, the place preforming the background check called to verify my work history. Another hour went by, and the area manager I interviewed with called me back about a second interview. This second interview is in two and a half hours, and was wondering if there were any tips that anyone may have. I am wearing black pants and shoes with a white shirt and a maroon silk tie. What should I expect from this interview? Will I be asked the same questions? Should I have another copy of my resume? Does this mean I got the job?
They will probably ask you some of the same questions again but with different twists. They obviously like you, so go in with confidence. Remember confidence does not mean cockiness. You are still interviewing for a position so sell yourself and act professional.
Depending on how things go, they might also review company benefits and procedures with you.
