Fashion reflects the times. In the past getting dressed used to be a simple matter. Smart Casual - The word smart casual send most men into a spin. It's the most ambiguous of modern dress code. Therefore keep it simple and clean. You can wear jeans but don't wear them with trainers and T-shirts. Wear them with a nice dress shirts and a pair of loafers. Or choose casual pants.
Cocktail Dress- Cocktail dress can be misinterpreted as formal evening wear code. For men, cocktail requires a suit and tie or a collared shirt that is cut to be worn without a tie.
Lounge suit - This term mainly refers to men and requires them to wear a suit, usually with a tie. An open neck shirt is ok but make sure it's a dress shirt and one cut specifically to be without a tie. You could also wear a T-shirt or a light sweater underneath your suit instead of a dress shirt, as long as its good quality. Black tie - The strictest of all dress codes in men's fashion is black tie. For men, dinner jacket and bow toe are a must - though it is becoming more acceptable to relax it a little with a black silk dress shirt and black tie.
Sportswear - The high-waisted tennis style shorts along with classic brand Lacoste's polo shirts are summer break essentials. They are the perfect choice for evening strolls along the beach.
Calvin Klein has taken the concept of tennis whites to a new level with a series of all-whites outfits, including lean jackets, sporty bodysuits. White is a big trend this season.
Men's fashion industry is a fast-growing, fuelled by customers avid for leading international designer brands and increasingly, the emerging local brands.
