Ways to wear checked shirt?
I bought a new checked shirt today, similar to this, (but GAP don't have a UK website) but more like a pale blue colour...

well the belt's woven bit is very similar, but instead of the gold buckle it has a little leather bit to tie with...
so I was just wondering, how could you wear this checked shirt (with or without the belt)? I already thought of a white top underneath, the shirt open over it, the belt over it, leggings and uggs, but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Your idea sounds great, with the white top, shirt open, belt, black leggings and uggs:)
Here are some others..
- Half done up, with a light blue or white top underneath, belt slung around your waist and whatever bottom half you like.
- Undone, with a denim skirt, leggings.
- Undone, with a top underneath, with a jacket or cardigan over the top. One of those fashionable denim jackets would look good.
- With a nice scarf or necklace.
