How do you Tie-Dye a blanket?
I bought a 100 percent cotton white queen sized blanket the other day because I wanted to tie-dye one. I bought the kit and have everything I need. The only problem is that when I twist it into a spiral it ends up being about 2 feet in diameter. I don't have any rubber bands that will fit around a 2 foot circle.
What should I do? I don't know what I could use in substitution for rubber bands. I could probably use a different technique with the pattern but I was really aiming for the original spiral.

instead of rubber bands, use:
yarn
string
twine
just take the twine, string, or yarn and tie it around the spot of fabrick in a double knot.
