How to find distance from one place to another?
Like on eBay it'll give you a choice to narrow down within 5-100 miles of a city.
How do you find out what is 5 miles from a certain point? Like say you're at the Target on Main street and you want to know what's 10 miles from that point in any direction. Is that another city? To what street?
Mapquest or yahoo maps isn't what I'm looking for. I'm looking for miles from any given point. Like from Central Park to Broadway in NYC is that 10 miles, 15 miles, etc. Stuff like that.

Simply take a ruler and measure how many inches of you ruler equals how many miles on the scale and do the appropriate math.
Here, on my ruler 8 miles = 1 inch; so the distance between New Brunswick and Keansberg is 1 1/2 inches = 12 miles.
