What do i wear a 100% cotton gray tie with black skulls on it with?
I'm 21, supposed to be "seriousing" up, but i couldn't help but buy that tie at the kids section of a clothing store while browsing for something for a family member. The tie fits me even though it was on the kids section, and it's kinda skinny. And i just realized something, i have no idea what i can wear it with. It's probably gonna be used mostly for any project presentations in uni (i'm in marketing), but what do you wear something like that with? T shirts? Buttoned up shirts? What color? Pattern? Etc??
John Dude, i didn't say the skulls would make me look serious, i said that even though i'm supposed to start looking serious, i couldn't help but buy it.
I'm picturing an outfit in my mind of a white, short-sleeved button up shirt, a black vest, and your tie for the top half. As for bottoms, I'd suggest black slacks for a more grown-up look or black denim for a modern edge. Finish off with black dress shoes. It really depends on how you want to be perceived.
