valedictory dinner dress....does this sound ok?
ok so sorry i don't have a picture, but ill try my best to explain it...
its almost floor length, but its not flashy (but still looks elegant). its got a black bodice and a pink/red/white tye dye (florally) skirt and it looks great. im wearing a small black shrug thing because i don't like wearing bare shoulders.
and ive got black heals with little diamonte thing on it and a matching black clutch. (still to find jewelry haha)
does it sound too formal? is long length dress too formal? its lounge suit for guys, so not black tie.
it was $100 which was on sale....opinions pls??

I think it sounds pretty. The tie dye will make it feel a little less formal. I think the dress will be fine for the event. If you want to dress it down a little bit, I would swap the diamond accented shoes with shoes that have a more casual feel. Depending on the weather, I'd suggest strappy sandals or a pair of pumps. Maybe you could find something really cute with a wedge heel. Keep your jewelry simple as well.
